Dr. Nicole Jones

At Sandy Springs Smiles, we believe dental care should feel personal, not clinical. Dr. Nicole Jones, an Atlanta native and proud UGA alum, was inspired to become a dentist after a life-changing orthodontic experience in her teens.

After earning her Doctorate at The Dental College of Georgia and completing advanced training at the VA Medical Center in Houston, she now brings top-level care in cosmetic, implant, and digital dentistry to our community.

Dr. Jones is known for her warm, patient-first approach. Her goal? To help you feel confident, comfortable, and proud of your smile every step of the way. With a passion for ongoing learning and building real relationships, she’s here to make your dental experience feel easy, empowering, and even enjoyable.

Dejah – Dental Assistant

Originally from the U.S. Virgin Islands, I moved to Georgia when I was 10 years old. I have two wonderful daughters—who, like many kids, need daily reminders to brush and floss!

I discovered my passion for dentistry early on and became certified by the Ameritis Institute in 2011. With 15 years of experience as a Registered Lead Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA), I love every aspect of my job—whether it’s making patients smile, easing their anxieties, or helping create healthy, beautiful smiles.

My greatest reward is educating and encouraging patients to prioritize their oral health for a long-lasting, confident smile.

Cierra – Registered Dental Hygienist

Hi! I’m Cierra, a dedicated dental hygienist who takes pride in helping patients achieve healthier, brighter smiles. I understand dental anxiety firsthand, so I do everything I can to create a comfortable, stress-free experience for each patient.

Beyond my work in the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my energetic two-year-old. I look forward to helping you and your family maintain great oral health!

Lawanda – Dental Assistant

With 15 years of experience as a dental assistant, I am passionate about making sure every patient feels comfortable, informed, and confident in their dental care.

I assist in a wide range of procedures, from routine cleanings to advanced treatments, ensuring that everything runs smoothly. I am skilled in taking X-rays, preparing dental materials, and maintaining a sterile, well-organized environment.

I take pride in my attention to detail, efficiency under pressure, and strong communication skills. Whether I’m assisting the dentist, educating patients on oral hygiene, or managing records, I always strive to create a welcoming atmosphere while helping our team deliver exceptional care.

When I’m not in the office, I love studying ancient cultures, cooking, and watching documentaries. I also continue to expand my knowledge in the latest dental techniques and technology to provide the best care possible.

Robin – Dental Receptionist

At Sandy Springs Smiles, we believe every visit should start with a warm welcome, and that’s exactly what you’ll get from Robin, our amazing dental receptionist. Originally from New Jersey, Robin brings a lifetime of kindness, humor, and experience to our front desk. As a mother, a proud Nana, and the oldest of 14 siblings, she knows a thing or two about keeping things running smoothly!

With 25 years in the dental field, Robin is passionate about making every patient feel at home from the moment they walk in. Whether she’s sharing a laugh, helping you schedule your next visit, or easing any dental anxieties, one thing’s for sure: She’ll always put a smile on your face!

Kessie Pillay - Dental Hygienist

Kessie Pillay brings over 30 years of experience in the dental field, combining his background as a dentist in South Africa with his passion for dental hygiene here in the US. His calm, knowledgeable approach puts patients at ease and helps them feel confident in caring for their oral health. He believes that hygiene is the foundation of a healthy smile, and he takes time to educate and support every patient he works with.

In addition to his work at Sandy Springs Smiles, Kessie has trained and mentored over 100 dental hygienists, helping shape the next generation of professionals. He’s passionate about raising the bar in dental care and creating a warm, empowering experience for everyone who walks through the door.

Han Phan - Dental Assistant

Han Pham is a dedicated dental assistant who’s all about making your visit smooth, comfortable, and stress-free. She brings a calm and caring energy to every appointment, whether she’s assisting the doctor or helping patients feel relaxed in the chair. Her favorite part of the job is being part of a team that works together to keep smiles healthy and patients happy.

Outside the office, Han loves exploring new foods, giving back through volunteer work at the Atlanta Community Food Bank, and traveling whenever she gets the chance. Her warm personality and attention to detail make her a true asset to the Sandy Springs Smiles family.
